About J. Joseph Wright

New JJ 2016 2 PINT

J. JOSEPH WRIGHT is a paranormal thriller writer who lives in the country on the outskirts of Portland Oregon. The home of ‘Grimm’ and near the city where ‘Twilight’ was filmed. He became an AMAZON bestseller with the first installment of the CEMETERY PLANET series hitting #1 during the summer of 2013 then again with GHOST GUARD later in the year.  “My beautiful wife is my inspiration, without her pushy, head-strong, never take no for an answer attitude and talent, I wouldn’t be where I am today.” When he hasn’t locked himself away writing, he enjoys the ocean but not the people flocking to it, hiking where there are no crowds just silence, and eating Kobe beef cheeseburgers.

  1. I have done the same thing in my life. I wrote stories from 6th grade up until my first year in college. I never did anything with my stories, just stored them away. Well, then I decided to become a recording engineer, and graduated from CRAS in Arizona. To make a long story short, I couldn’t make any money at it -forced to live in WV. lol I then decided that if I wasn’t going to make any money doing recording engineering, then I was going to do what I loved anyway (fiction writing). So now I am attending Marshall University (going for my BBA) and I’m writing fiction like crazy -trying to learn how to write better. Ultimately, I wan’t to do something big with my fiction writing. That’s why I’m going for my BBA, so I can learn the business aspects of things while I hone in on what I do best. -In all I would like to say… I’m glad that you are following your dream, no matter what. Just never stop learning how you can make your career better, and burn all bridges that would allow you to go back -always mover forward. I really like what you are doing here. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Joshua!
It has been a journey. And I am thankful. The years have enabled me to write a much better story than I would have written twenty years ago.
Appreciate you visiting and commenting 🙂

      1. No problem. I’m just now reading this. I’m sorry. I always do my posts via SMART PHONE. Hahaha. I know what you mean, over time we all get better than we would have been without the journey, the writing journey I mean. 😀 Once you get all the right tools the detintion is limitless. You can go whereever you want in life! Publishing a book is exciting stuff… I’m so ready to see mine out in the world. I only hope I can make it to the Best Sellars list like you have 😀
